The Mission of the Untied Methodist Men is:
” TO HELP MEN GROW IN CHRIST, SO OTHERS MAY KNOW CHRIST”
Redwine United Methodist’s Men’s Group was organized in 1960, and became a charter member of the National United Methodist Men’s Organization in 1973. The year 2017 marks the 44th consecutive year that we have maintained our local church charter, and we are currently one of 3,534 charter groups of the United Methodist Men in the United States.
We meet at 7:30am on the third Sunday of each month in the RUMC Fellowship Hall where we have breakfast, planned programs and a short business meeting.
- We acknowledge that men lead others by modeling Jesus Christ in thought, words, and deeds
- We know that men are foundational to the life and health of our Church, and when men live daily in surrendered faith, God is honored and many lives are blessed.
- Proverbs 27:17 states: “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another”.
We welcome all men to join us on this journey “to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world”.
